Dana Hill – Died Of Diabetes

Dana Hill gained fame during the ’80s because of the role she had in the film called National Lampoon’s European Vacation. Some of her other memorable parts were in Cross Creek and Shoot the Moon. She got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was a young girl, and it affected how she grew physically.

It’s why she mostly played younger roles. In 1996, she suffered a diabetic coma that led to a paralytic stroke. She eventually passed away at the age of 32 in July 1996. Hill’s last acting gig was a voice role in Tom and Jerry: The Movie.

Patrick Swayze – Died Of Pancreatic Cancer

Many of you might automatically associate the Willy Wonka character with Johnny Depp, but there was another actor before him who gave life to the iconic character. His name is Gene Wilder, and he starred in 1971’s Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Before the film, people knew him for his performances in The Producers and Blazing Saddles. In 2013, he found out he had Alzheimer’s disease, but he decided to keep his battle a secret. His fans were shocked when news broke out in 2016 that he succumbed to the disease. Wilder’s last role was in Will & Grace.

Steve Irwin – Died Due To A Stingray Encounter 

Steve Irwin was undoubtedly one of the most popular zookeepers in the world. He became well-known internationally after he started starring in The Crocodile Hunter in 1996. He often hosted alongside his wife Terri, and they had other shows like The Crocodile Hunter Diaries and Croc Files.

He dealt with a lot of animals in his life and was always taking safety precautions. Sadly, he got unlucky in 2006 after a stingray barb pierced him in the chest. It led to him bleeding to death. An asteroid, streets, parks, and zoos got named in his honor. He is survived by his wife and two kids, who are now managing the Australia Zoo.

Laura Branigan – Died Of A Ventricular Brain Aneurysm

Laura Branigan became a big name in the music scene during the ’80s after she released her hit titled Gloria. She then released other successful singles like Self Control, The Power of Love, and How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.

She also notably had songs included in the popular soundtracks of Ghostbusters and Flash Dance. In 2004, she unexpectedly passed away due to a ventricular brain aneurysm. Her condition was undiagnosed, and she didn’t seek help from a doctor even though she was getting headaches. Over My Heart was the final album she released.
