Born in 1935 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, to Colin Norman and Annie Eliza Weetman, Anne Reid grew up with her three elder brothers and parents in Redcar. Upon leaving Penrhose College, she moved to London to go to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, where the young performer learned the skills that would later help her serve in the industry.

This should come in as a surprise, but Anne got a job as a store manager before landing her first major role in Coronation Street. A decades-long award-winning career followed that! Now at 85, we envision a content grand dame with loads of stories to tell!
Anne Stallybrass – Essex, 82 Years Old
Born in Essex, Anne Stallybrass went to St. Bernard’s Convent in Westcliff before spending three years strengthening her skills at the Royal Academy of Music. There, she even won the famous Drama Gold medal, which is quite the deal in the acting realm.

We know her best for starring in The Six Wives of Henry VIII and playing Anne in The Onedin Line. These days, Anne is living quite a serene life all by herself. That is because, despite being married twice, Stallybrass never had any children. But we are sure the revered actress has no regrets about such a successful life, one still talked about by the whole world.
