Find Out What Happened To Hollywood’s Golden Age Stars Who Are Still Alive And Inspiring Fans

BOBBY SHERMAN – 79 YEARS OLD – RETIRED BUT AN ACTIVE PHILANTHROPIST

Between 1962 and 1997, Bobby Sherman was a fixture in the entertainment industry for 35 years, belting out hits such as “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “Little Woman.” He was an occasional songwriter who became a popular teen idol in the late ’60s and early ’70s. However, he left all this fame and success behind to serve humanity.

The former actor-singer became an emergency medical technician and police officer in the ’70s, serving as a deputy sheriff until 2010. Sherman co-founded the Brigitte & Bobby Sherman Children’s (BBSC) Foundation with his wife to help students in Ghana get quality education at higher levels.

PAUL HOGAN – 81 YEARS OLD – STILL ACTING BUT NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

Australia has given the world Paul Hogan, the face of the highly successful Crocodile Dundee movie series. He did such a great job playing outback adventurer Michael “Crocodile” Dundee that he even got an Oscar nod and won a Golden Globe for the first 1986 flick of the film franchise. The last credit on his IMDb page is 2019’s The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.

Sadly, bad news came to the 81-year-old Hogan when he found out that his long-time friend John Cornell passed away in July 2021 at 80 years old. The Aussie director/writer had a part in creating Crocodile Dundee.

GEORGE HAMILTON – 82 YEARS OLD – ACTIVE IN THE ACTING INDUSTRY

Actor George Hamilton, recognized for his sophisticated style and suave hairdo, has been in the entertainment industry since the early ’50s. But if you think he’s already retired at 81, you’re mistaken. He’s even busy working on a new action film titled All Terrain, coming out in 2022.

In recent years, we’ve seen Hamilton appear in projects like Grace and Frankie, American Housewife, and Swiped. Yet, his timeless hits will always be our favorites: Light in the Piazza, Once Is Not Enough, Love at First Bite, and The Godfather Part III.

CINDY WILLIAMS – 74 YEARS OLD – STILL ACTING BUT NOT AS ACTIVE AS BEFORE

We loved Cindy Williams in the ’70s sitcoms Laverne & Shirley, as well as Happy Days. During that era, she also starred in films like American Graffiti, where she worked alongside director George Lucas, and The Conversation, directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

Although Williams hasn’t had the chance to have significant roles in recent years, she’s still actively acting at 74 years old. She worked with John Heard in 2012’s Stealing Roses and has since made brief appearances in projects like The Odd Couple, Sam & Cat, and 2020’s Canaan Land.

CHRISTOPHER WALKEN – 78 YEARS OLD – BUSY AS A SOUGHT-AFTER ACTOR

There’s no other smooth-talker in Hollywood like Christopher Walken. Heck, the 78-year-old celeb is one of his generation’s best actors! His astounding acting talent is showcased in films such as The Deer Hunter, Catch Me If You Can, Annie Hall, and Pulp Fiction. If that doesn’t convince you, his seven Saturday Night Live guest-hosting stint might.

As of 2021, Walken is starring as Burt in the drama/thriller TV show Severance. Before this, he worked on Wild Mountain Thyme, a 2020 romantic film. Now, he is also set to appear in the TV series The Offenders, currently in pre-production.
