Erin Burnett – New York (Undisclosed price)

Journalist Erin Burnett has her own program ‘Outlook’ which she hosts on CNN. Burnett gets on our list not for outrightly owning a luxury building but for her rented luxury apartment in New York. Velvet Ropes reported in 2021, that the apartment located near the Lincoln Center offers great amenities including a community swimming pool, a 24-hour doorman, residential lounge, parking garage, etc.

The 2-bedroom apartment has 2.5 bathrooms, high ceilings, a marble bath, and a large window with a great view into the city. It is a huge apartment that reportedly costs her somewhere in the region of $13,500 monthly. 

Bill Gates – Washington, ($147.5 Million)

Bill Gates’ Washington home would make it to any list of cool mansions. ‘Xanadu 2.0’ is 66,000 square feet and took seven years to build. The sand is imported from the Caribbeans yearly. Five hundred thousand wood logs were used in its construction.

It has seven bedrooms, six kitchens, 24 bathrooms, a reception hall, a 60-foot swimming pool with an underwater sound system. It has luxury garages and an artificial stream. ‘Xanadu 2.0’  would cost at least $147.5 million today if sold with the artwork in it. In 2021, Bill Gates’ marriage to Melinda Gates, with whom he shared Xanadu 2.0, sadly ended in a divorce. 

Stephen Curry- California ($31 Million)

Steph Curry is one of the highest-earning athletes in the world and he has investments in mansions in the United States Of America. His most expensive mansion is his $50.1 million Malibu mansion. However, it is his $31 million Atherton Mansion where he lives with his family that we include in this list.

The Atherton mansion sits on 1.2 acres and is reportedly the biggest house in the neighborhood. The house was reportedly bought from designer Joe Comartin and has a cabana, pools, and a garage. In January 2022, Curry’s wife, Ayesha, slammed rumors alleging their marriage is an open one.  

Danica Patrick – Arizona ($4 Million)

Despite living a life of speed on the tracks, car racer, Danica Patrick settled for a deluxe house in slow-paced Scottsdale, Arizona. Nicknamed “Jettson’s House” due to the architecture when bought in 2007, the house contains a 7-car garage and a wine cellar with a capacity of 1000 bottles. Perhaps this wine cellar is what has spurred Patrick’s interest in winemaking.

The 8300-square-foot house features exquisite furniture, concrete-sheathed walls, and an open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar. In 2021 Patrick shared a cozy Christmas picture featuring her new boyfriend, Carter Comstock. This came over a year after splitting with Aaron Rodgers, with whom she once shared the $4 million deluxe house. 

Wolf Blitzer – Maryland ($1.34 Million)

Wolf Blitzer is an American Journalist, one of the principal anchors at CNN, and was the lead political anchor at CNN until 2021. He hosts “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” by CNN. Active since 1972, and a CNN Reporter since 1990, Blitzer was one of the first Western journalists to visit the KGB headquarters in Moscow. 

He bought his Bethesda house in 1989 for $710,000. The house is reportedly worth $1.34 million. Blitzer spent almost his entire life in this house, even while working at CNN. He is married to Lynn Greenfield and has a daughter, namely Ilana Blitzer Gendelman, who is also a journalist.
